Hi my name is Stacey I'm almost 60 was diagnosed as pre diabetic with a blood glucose level of 111 my a1c was in normal range  does this mean I'm diabetic.  Don't know what to do now I have hashimotos disease had mild covid case in late dec never had a high blood glucose except 27 years ago when I was preg  what's your advice as to how I should watch my sugar in take fr said he wants to retest in 3 months

Stacey,I would get a meter and take your blood sugar daily for about 2 weeks, if you gave a problem you'll  see it, a reading of 111 doesn't say diabetes to me, and if you have diabetes I wouldn't want to wait another 3 months to start taking care of it
