Hi everyone,

How are you doing this week? 😊

You might have seen creatine popping up more and more on your feed lately. It’s often marketed to athletes for muscle growth and performance, but some researchers are now exploring its potential benefits for people living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, especially when it comes to muscle strength, insulin sensitivity, and glucose metabolism.

🧬 Early studies suggest that for people with type 2 diabetes, creatine may help muscles take in more glucose, especially if combined with regular movement or resistance training.

For people with type 1, the evidence is still limited, but some experts say it may help maintain muscle energy or reduce fatigue, even if it doesn’t directly impact blood sugar.

Of course, like with any supplement, hydration and kidney health are important, and anyone thinking about trying it should check in with their doctor first.

So let’s open it up to the community:

💬 Have you ever taken creatine or talked to your doctor about it?

💡 What do you think about using supplements like this alongside traditional diabetes care?

📌 What’s helped you most when trying to build strength, stay active, or manage fatigue?

No I've been trying cinnamon, it hasn't been working. I will try that instead
