Hello everyone, I'm considering making the switch to a pump... Do any of you use a pump? What do you like about it? Is there anything I should know or any reasons why I shouldn't make the change? Thanks!

@new2diabetes I still do injections and I'm was also interested in the pump but let it go because I was too scared to deal with the insertion process. It's so dumb because I'm obviously used to needles and such, but I couldn't get past the idea of tubing. Maybe some people who have one can enlighten us more and maybe convince me to take the plunge someday!

I use a pen for my insulin. I started not that long ago. It took me a little while to overcome injecting myself everyday. I figured out  a mental way to do it and now it feels somewhat routine.

I'm not sure I could overcome having something always attached to  me like some type 1 patients.

I have a pump, which took some getting to used to too. I wear it continuously except for when I go on vacation, then I go back to injections. I really like the versatility and automation of it. I can program the rate to vary throughout the day or how much exercise I'm doing, and I can program different IC or CF depending what I'm eating or when it is.
