We diabetics are in the high risk profile, which I think means we are more susceptible when it comes to contracting COVID. Hence, it will be harder for us to fight it off. Because of our high risk profile our immune system is not up to par and we can contract the disease easier. At least that is what I have gathered from all the news casts.  Leah

Yes I am scared and have been experiencing anxiety.  I have a telemed appointment with my primary care doctor in early May. I am hoping she can prescribe me something for my anxiety.  I can't sleep at night.  I am checking for fever or I go to the refrigerator to see if I can still smell.  I hope to get better.  I know it is me driving those fears in my head.

Hi RBishop...

I too am experiencing terrible anxiety every morning. I sleep at night due to the meds I am on plus melatonin. My depression is not as bad. There are many choices for anxiety. Good luck!!

@Rbishop I'm so sorry to hear that. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. And maybe try to do things that keep your mind busy? Like gardening or drawing or just watching a movie... Stay safe and strong, we are here for you!

Hi Everyone...All this isolation is really starting to affect my depression and anxiety. I spend so much time crying because I am so lonely and need someone to give me a hug. I am grateful I have friends to talk to but it is not the same as having someone here with me to talk to, or someone to hold ma and tell me that everything is going to be OK and that they are with me. I am so scared of the future. Is anyone else feeling the way I am? If you are know that there are others out there who are feeling the same way you are.

@leahstanek  I'm so sorry you're feeling down sweetie. This is such an awful time and I understand how you're feeling. I don't know where I'd be without my husband and family with me. Please know we're here for you on here, even if it's not in person! We will all get through this safe and sound, I promise! Do you have anything you do just for you, for fun or for relaxation? I've been trying out some yoga moves and it's really been helping me relax.
