Does anyone suffer from delusional thinking at times? I have been having more episodes of this (as a result of Lupus, I believe) and am not myself and not sure how to cope. I do yoga and workout but at times have no energy. Any advice would be helpful.

DEAREST FRIENDS,

WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH WHEN WE ARE SICK AND WE DO NOT LOOK LIKE (SICK). I DO MISS THE CONSTANT SUPPORT I USE TO GET FROM MY MOTHER.

I WOULD OF THOUGHT, SHE BRAIN WASHED ME ENOUGH BY NOW!! IT IS A SHAME FOR MANY OF US WHO NEVER HAD ANYONE.

PLEASE DO KEEP IN CONTACT.

HELLO, FRIENDS, I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE A PLACE TO HANG MY HAT!!LOLOLOL LYNN, I WOULD BE LOST IF YOU WERE NOT HERE..LEE HAS BEEN TERRIFIC AND I AM THANKFUL FOR BOTH OF YOU. IT SEEMS LIKE MOST PEOPLE, DO NOT CHAT.. I WISH THEY WOULD;  NOT JUST READ MY ARTICLE BUT,SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES. I THINK THIS IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF DEALING WITH LUPUS..SOCIETY HAS MADE US AWARE OF HOW WE LOOK, BECAUSE WE DO NOT ALWAYS LOOK SICK!!! THAT PLACES PRESSURE WITH PEOPLE LIKE US WHO HAVE LUPUS. I ATTEMPT TO CARE FOR MY HAIR AND SKIN. I TAKE THE EXTRA STEP....

IF ANY PERSON IN THIS FORUM NEEDS SOME HELP WITH HAIR AND SKIN.

REMEMBER I WORKED WITH SOME PEOPLE, WHO USE YOUR FACE AND BODY TO DETERMINE THE LENGTH AND STYLE OF HAIR. BECAUSE THE FRONT OF YOUR THE HAIR IS THE FRAME OF YOUR FACE!! THE BACK OF YOUR HAIR IS THE FRAME OF YOUR BODY!!!

IT IS A SHAME BUT, SOCIETY PLACES MORE PRESSURE ON THE AVERAGE PERSON. WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM SUCH AS LUPUS!!!! YOU ARE BOUND TO CHANGE BOTH HAIR AND BODY. IF YOU CONCENTRATE ON THAT THEN YOU CAN HIDE LUPUS. PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND US AND IF YOU "LOOK SO GOOD, I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU ARE SERIOUSLY SICK"?

SURPRISE YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!

ALWAYS MICKEY

@mickey‍ I agree... this forum has been a great resource and outlook for myself and I am glad you find it resourceful too! Just an FYI, make sure to include an @ then start typing the persons username so they get a notice that someone has responded. This has helped me communicate and stay in communication! I do wish others would be a little more quick in responsiveness!

In reponse to the original poster, as I stated before, delusional thinking can be a result of lupus. I wish I knew what meds you were on bc they can cause delusional thinking too...
