Hello everyone, I had surgery late last year to have a tumor removed and when I'm fully recovered (still not quite there yet, I'm getting old haha) I might need more radiation to keep it from coming back. I'm wondering if I should put off my appointments and further treatment with this coronavirus panic since it's really hard on the immune system. I have a hard enough time breathing as it is, I'm afraid that any additional stress on my body will just be a "welcome" sign for the coronavirus. What do you all think?

Hi everyone,

I thought I would come back to this discussion and see how everyone is doing as COVID-19 numbers have started to really escalate?

How are you holding up? Have you been able to resume treatment if it was delayed by the pandemic? Have you changed anything in your daily routine since the stay-at-home orders to help you stay safe?

Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well emoticon cute

I thought I would come back to this discussion to talk about the COVID-19 vaccine!

Have you gotten any advice from your doctor or your medical team about the COVID-19 vaccine? Should one particular vaccine be preferred over another for lung cancer patients? Have you gotten it yet? If you have, how was the experience for you? Did you have any side effects?

@Courtney_J I haven't gotten it yet but I have an appointment for next week! I haven't been in treatment for a few years now so I wasn't really a question that came to mind for me. I haven't heard anything specific for lung cancer patients besides the general "check with your doctor if you have a history of allergies to vaccines" so I'm getting the J&J
