I started this account right after my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. My husband also had neuroendocrine tumors .

My coworker passed away from prostate cancer at the beginning of 2023. And now, my best friend was just diagnosed with lung cancer.

Why is everyone around me getting cancer? I'm getting emotionally drained from this disease and I'm not even the one who is sick. Is this is case for anyone else?

How many people do you know who have been diagnosed with cancer? Do you think pre-screening and preventative checks are one reason why more people seemed to be diagnosed? How do you emotionally manage this kind of news? Is it something you are able to talk about or do you struggle because of heavy emotions? What advice would you offer?
