We are stronger together in the face of illness!

So just read the article on psychological benefits of sharing in a community.  Found it to be very insightful and on point and I recommend everyone gives it a go.  It reaffirmed some of the positives im doing in my life and gave me ideas on how to move forward.

Been dealing with depression mostly in my life, my growing list of health issues as I grow older only adds on to that fight.  Lately I've found that it is very hard to fight and stand on your own.  We need someone in our corner to cheer us on, be that sympathetic ear, that boot to your bum to get you moving, that shoulder to cry on, those arms that hug you, that voice to say its going to be okay.......well you get the idea.

This site provided a spark for me that I needed to change my life.  Reading all these stories that you all were brave enough to share and imagining the struggles you all deal with made me feel humbled and not feeling so alone.  I hope and pray for you all.  I hope that you all overcome your issues and pray that you will all be happy and blessed someday.

Till then my fellow carebears, because our community is called carenity so why not, continue fighting the good fight.  Know that your not alone and that you have many people rooting for you and cheering you on.  To steal some cool lyrics from a fave some: " all we need is hope, and for that we have each other. We will rise, rise up like the waves, and we'll do it a thousand times". - song by Andra Day "rise up".

Hi, I am new to this site, and have enjoyed the comments.  I have depression, COPD and other medical issues.  I am blessed because it all seems to be under control.  My main problem is loneliness.   This COVID has me unable, mentally and physically to leave my house.  I have become scared to drive.  I was an avid exerciser, but unable to motivate to do that anymore.  My strength is slowly ebbing.  I stopped going to church as I don't feel comfortable there anymore.  I am a mess.
