Hello everyone,

Hope the new year has been treating you well so far. 😊

Smartphones have become a big part of our daily lives – from keeping in touch with loved ones to managing appointments and even monitoring our health. But did you know that excessive smartphone use can impact our health in ways we might not immediately notice? 📱

Too much screen time can lead to eye strain, neck and back pain (often called “tech neck”), and trouble sleeping due to blue light exposure. On top of that, constantly checking notifications can heighten anxiety or stress. For those managing chronic conditions, finding a balance between using helpful health apps and avoiding overuse can be tricky.

It’s not all bad news, though! Setting boundaries, like using blue light filters or limiting screen time before bed, can make a real difference. Some even try “digital detox” days, giving their minds and bodies a break.

Do you ever feel like your smartphone use affects your health?
What strategies have you tried to reduce screen time without losing the benefits of staying connected?
Have you found any apps or tools that help you manage your health while avoiding excessive screen time?
