How many portions of fruit/vegetables do you eat per day? What are your favorite? Do you think consuming enough fruit and vegetables really is that important for our health?
Thank you all in advance!
Take care,
Courtney

Hello everyone. I eat a banana every morning.

Mornings always include a fruit yogurt cup and an apple. Evening meal usually has veggies, starch, meat. If that's not enough, so be it.

I may eat two servings a day and that’s a mix of oranges, watermelon ( in season) and apples. I think it’s important because of the natural vitamins

I eat a huge salad every day with about 9 different vegetables and two cooked vegetables to go with dinner. Along with about 2-3 servings of fruit daily, which I eat for desserts or snacks. Eating "real" food has had an immense difference on my health and energy. For those I didn't like, I ate little bits of them until I didn't mind their taste, such as broccoli, asparagus, spinach and blueberries.

@moonshower2 wow your diet seems to be super healthy! great job! I wish I could say the same about mine, but I don't really like veggies, especially cooked ones. I can eat a salad once in a while, but that's about it

@Peskygnat I also like apples, I think it's the best fruit ever. Apparently, they are filled with vitamins and contain even more of vit C than oranges

I'm starting on the Wahl's protocol which is a Paleo diet lots of fruits and vegetables nuts and seeds. A little bit of salmon or chicken also chicken livers or calves liver. All in moderation of course.

I usually do as I like eating fruits and vegetables. I like pretty much any. I find those that don’t like you find or make combinations with those you like. Find berries to add to your cereal in the morning. Smoothies is an easy way to have several helpings in one drink. Just if diabetic or on weight loss fruits have sugars.

I know it's what is recommended, but I really can't make myself eat that much fruit and veggies! I don't know if anybody actually can. Especially when you are not used to it. The only vegetable I like is corn, and I am not so sure it is that healthy when ggrilled. I kind of like apples too, but that's about it! What can I do?? I know healthy diet is paramount for people with chronic conditions, but I just can't do anything about it - I don't like fruit and vegetables!!
thank you for reading me.
