My dog Hopes biopsy came back benign. Relieved for now as I’m not ready to loose her.🥰

I have several... But the main one is a full blooded chihuahua that I rescued approximately 9 years ago. He's my best friend. I actually have 2 walker coonhounds and expecting a litter of puppies maybe this upcoming week, a senior Red nose pitbull that was a rescue, a 175 pound Rottweiler another rescue then I have a chihuahua mixed with rat terrier, and 2 cats one inside, Several free roaming roosters that were rescued as well. then one inside both rescues, I also have 4 rescued ball pythons too. Then I have rats I'm breeding to feed all the pythons. I tried to upload pictures of all my creatures big and small but it says my files are too big. My son and I are surrounded by creatures. But we love all God's creatures.

@Lee__R I have an attack/guard Chihuahua...ROFL....not mine but my lady's... he helps both of us, and wakes me when her sugar is low by licking my right eye...huhh. When we feel "down" he pesters us until we feel better, lol...Arlene needs to understand this, I'm helping her understand. Do ya'll know what it's like telling a female something they didn't figure out first !???

Yes, my son has bone cancer. He spent over 300 nights in hospitals. We went through a transplant which sent him to a rehab hospital got 90 days. They allowed his dog in his room. It was a small pediatric unit and although they could handle more, there were never more than 6 kids in the unit at one time. Fozzie was a favorite of all the families. He is a loyal Brittany with a very gentle personality and very soft fur. He is a cuddle bug. He knew exactly how to calm my son when he was in pain. Other families would come to my son’s room because Fozzie had the same effect on them. In the end, the transplant failed and we opted for an amputation 18 months after the transplant. Now, even a few years later, Fozzie always protects my son’s leg and continues to calm him when phantom pains strike. He sleeps on my son’s stump, which seems very oddly comfortable for both of them.

Where I live at now we are not supposed to have pets. Although I've been trying to convince the powers thst be that an animal is theraputic.

I have a Bull Mastiff “Hope”. She is trained to help provide balance and can pull me up from the floor. Plus she isn’t one to let someone harass me. Then we have 2 other just fun dogs. A German Shorthaired Pointer “ Callie Jo” a Min Pin “Lil Red”.

I have two wonderful cats, who make my life so much better. I have been isolating since 3/16/2019 due to an immune deficiency condition and working from home. My two furbabies have kept me company, and been my companions, so grateful for them. A rescue mom and daughter.

We've always had a dog as a family member. While owning a dog requires a lot of responsibility both financial emotionally. In the long run the cost is negligible compared to the contribution a dog provides. We've had 4 wonderful dogs and our current pup is a 12 year old American Staffordshire Terrier.

While not a service dog, I have a miniature poodle who keeps me company. I need someone to take care of other than myself!

I have 8 four legged friends. Two 9 year old dogs named Maybelle and Lady, 2 male cats named Sinatra and Peyton, a female cat called Misty and 3 male rats called Moe, Larry and Curly. I would have more, but my family has put a limit on me. We have always had animals in the house since we were married 50 years ago and our 3 kids are all grown and have their own fur babies. We are animal lovers.

Hello everyone,
I thought I would introduce a new "fun" topic for everyone today:
Animal therapy is known to have a very positive impact on the moral for those dealing with chronic conditions. Our furry friends can us provide both comfort and companionship!
I wanted to ask you, do you have an animal to help you? If so, what kind? How does your animal help you?
Please let me know in the comments, and feel free to share a photo or two!
Take care,
Lee
