My knees were affected for 6 months, then it disappeared. Tonight I had such bad leg pain I could not walk or craw.

What I do to control pain symptoms is an alkaline diet that means no sugar, dairy, red meat, coffee, fries, flour, chips, ham, alcohol, wheat, gluten, processed food. And I juice every night green vegetables with a branch of ginger root and I add turmeric to my beverages. That really works to control pain. It takes time to adjust to eat like that but it’s really worthy. My pain is 20 or 30 % of 90% since I changed those eating habits. If I go back to consume dairy or alcohol or any other acid food, I can’t stand my joints the next day and I get swallowing and shortness of breath.
I hope this helps!

Hello, does anyone experience joint pain in their knees and elbows plus in the actual leg and arm with lupus? I rub it and put rub on it, but ut has been happening more frequently now.
What do you do to control it?
