I would love to have a vaccine but I have to wait because people with underlying illnesses don't count we are almost last on the list of people to receive there vaccine! We should be First on the list unfair!

I had the first shot by Pfizer. The lymph nodes in my neck swelled up but I heard that could happen. I felt even if the vaccine only offered me 50% effectiveness I would take it. I am high risk and if I got COVID with no vaccine there was a much bigger chance I would die from it. By having the vaccine and then if I got COVID I would most likely still live through it. That was the big deciding factor for me. I also thought about all the junk people eat such as artificial sweeteners, nitrates in food etc... which are all cancer causing. Therefore the benefit of the vaccine outweighed the cons. When I get the second shot on March 3rd then two weeks after that ...a weight will be lifted off my shoulders and I will not be living in so much fear of getting COVID. This is just my opinion. I wish you all the best in making your decision.

I would definitely take it but I'm having problems overcoming the covid-19 I've had since January 22nd.

I have already had both doses. Made me feel awful after the second one. Wonder if it has caused a flair.

@Baugher I am scheduled to get the second dose next week. I have heard a lot of people say that you feel sick the next day. Hope it doesn’t affect me that way but will have to wait and see. How long were you sick? Was it mostly achy joints and tired?

@Mickey65901 I forgot to add that it seems like the older you are the less likely you are to be sick after the second dose. I am in my 70s but my aunt is 94 and it didn’t affect her at all! My mom is 91 and she felt tired the day after. Slept the whole day. But she wasn’t sick. Hopefully I won’t be sick either!

I have had both shots (Maderna) and did not suffer any adverse reactions to either first of especially second shot. Bottom line - I trust the science and scientists much smarter than me. As others have stated, I have a strong desire to see in person my children and grandchildren so I will do whatever it takes to safely make that happen.
