One of the key ways for management of hypercholesterolemia is a health-diet. There are many specific diets that some with high cholesterol follow, such as the Mediterranean Diet and TLC (Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes) Diet.
However, one does not need to follow a specific diet... just a healthy eating is what is beneficial.
What about you?
What is your diet like? Do you follow any particular diet for your high cholesterol?

I eat as "clean" as I can. I eat a lot of chicken and fish, turkey, and some red meat (but very lean). I also eat a lot of pinto beans and black beans. I also eat a lot of vegetables and fruits/

Hi everyone. I do not follow a specific diet. I did research on best eating patterns for those with high cholesterol and also spoke about it with my doctor...
I try to eat high fiber foods (oatmeal and bran), HDL/Omega-3s/Extra Virgin Olive Oil, proteins (almonds, cashews, chicken, fish, whey protein), vegetables/fruits. I do not eat dairy and seldom eat processed foods.
