Hi everyone, how are you today?
Living with epilepsy can come with a whole range of challenges, but one that often goes unspoken is the experience of stigma or discrimination. Whether it happens at work, in school, in healthcare, or in social situations, being treated unfairly because of a neurological condition can feel isolating and painful.
Sometimes it’s overt. Other times it’s subtle, like people pulling away, making assumptions, or not including you out of fear or misunderstanding.
