I have been using Glyburide for 23 years with good results. My doctor says he can not prescribe glyburide to me because it is against the law now, because I am over 70. Anyone here of such bs. I am given glipizide, and it does not work as well..but I found out it cheaper, so the Florida blue makes more money off me

Hello, I have been taking Glybizide , a small white pill, and it was not working. Then they gave me another that was kind of a pink pill and it works better. Don't know about Glyburide.

@john44 - why is it now against the law?
Looks like @bytheseagal mentioned the other medication you were on and she has experience with it. I am not familiar with either of them, but there are multiple anti-diabetic medications that may be of a better resource for you.
