I had dry needling done by a fantastic physical therapist, twice per week, back in 2023, but then I moved -- I miss it SOOO much!! It was incredibly effective for my spastic paraspinals; now I can only get "trigger point injections" from my rheumatologist, and only infrequently. And because she uses lidocaine, she can only give me ten injections at a time on one day. It is worth it to have less pain for a few hours, but I wish I could have them more frequently. The PT who gave the dry needling would put the needles in deeply and then move them around to release the spasms---AH!! Heavenly!!

@HelloKitty I started taking kratom when I was diagnosed with cervical dystonia, it means I have constant pulling of my neck and shoulder muscles. Botox is the primary treatment , 6 to 8 shots targeting muscles but its hit and miss. I told a friend about this and he told me about kratom, so I went to a kratom shop and talked to the owner. He learned I was an Army Veteran and sold me some capsules. Unbelievable the kratom knocked out the pain and relieved some of the spasms and pulling that was 5 years ago, and I am still taking it for chronic pain. I have found the vendors to trust and a fbook website to share experiences with others. Like all things kratom must be handled with common sense, and reading info on the web helps educate us all. IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT HELPS WITH MY CHRONIC PAIN

Yes I agree. Im on morphine and Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen and yours as well. I have some others also. If I want to work in the back yard, I am sleep mode if I set down. The next morning and at night is paying with great pain. Its a hard road in many ways. We have to keep going best as we can. Have a smile and good day to you. I have the stimulator too.

Ambassador@Somya.P My neurologist gave me a script through the state dispensary for aid with sleep. It helps with sleep. The script is for low dose THC, so it aids with minor pain. I have learned through my trials of product that CBD gummies help with sleep, but not pain. In my state, CBD gummies can be bought at local corner stores.

Hello all... if you have read any of my posts you will know that I am big proponent of dry needling, or what some call trigger point therapy, but is without any injections into the muscles... just uses the needle - so it is a form of acupuncture.
Finding a clinician though who does it, and does it effectively is difficult. In your search, you want to find someone who actually states they do it on their website or in their reviews because if you call someone who practices acupuncture and ask them about it, they will say they do, but their skills, i have noticed are lacking. You ideally want someone who has trained in dry-needling, not just acupuncture because it is a different art.
The best I have ever found have been physical therapist are a DACM trained practitioner with training in dry-needling!
Many acupuncturists and Chiropractors say they do it ... usually, but you will notice a HUGE difference when they are not actually skilled at it.
A skilled practitioner will place the needle into muscles and move it around like 20-30 times and fast (like seconds) to relieve the muscle buildup - and it feels so great. However, one who is not skilled will take like 30 seconds to a minute to just find the taught muscle and release it and then move to a different area, but not fully resolving all the other taught areas in the place he/she just addressed.
If anyone has any questions for me in regard to this... I am happy to help because it has helped me. I have not had it done for like 3 weeks because I moved to a different state (I had a great practitioner in FL) and I can feel it! I need to go! Thankfully, I hopefully found a practitioner here - will find out tomorrow how well she is!
I am very interested in learning about others opinions and experiences with dry needling.
