Hello. My sister was recently diagnosed with gastric cancer. It was a sorrowful time for everyone, but now we try to focus on making her feel better. She is constantly tired and exhausted from her treatment. Is there something that can help her feel more awake? She has been getting pretty depressed lately :( I don't know how to help.

Good advisor

Hi @kathyW

How are you doing today?

I am sorry to hear about your sister's diagnosis. Fatigue and depression are very common for people recently diagnosed with cancer. I will tag a few other members who may have some specific advice to offer you regarding how to better help your sister.

@Macapitome @Anita62 @Lannie @KHooper @margate7460 @ptomlinson @MrsMoore08 @julsjuls3 @ABaldazo#1 @raerae @Angela @pjflyer52 @angelajenrob @Ncgirl @Kev2020 @Victoria22 @danielleu @Maksims @Bettyb58 @cheryoak @Kheffers79 @Kimmy2021 @Dandylu @Helen54 @Bisa01 @Deboharry @Nlbrown @Rockstar22 @Michel

Is it possible to help someone feel less fatigued? What would you suggest @kathyW do to make her sister feel more comfortable or less depressed? Is there anything that would help cheer her up?

Take care,

Lizzi from the Carenity team

Has she tried ginseng with royal jelly? I like the little vials that come with a straw. You can find them at a vitamin store, or on line at Swanson or vitacost.
