Baked Chickpea 'Nuts' Recipe

Ingredients 1 Number of people

1. 15 oz can of chickpeas

2. 1 tbsp of olive oil

3. 2 tsp cumin

4. 1/4 tsp ground allspice

5. 1 tsp marjoram

6. 1/4 tsp salt


1. Rinse chick pea

2. Blot dry with paper towel

3. Put chick peas in a bowl

4. Pour olive olive oil over chick peas in bowl

5. Pour spices (cumin, allspice, marjoram) and salt over chick peas in bowl

6. Mix together

7. Spread on a backing sheet pan

8. Bake at 450 degrees in over until they are brown and crunchy (approximately 25 to 40 minutes)


Stir/move the chick peas in the oven a few times to make sure all chick peas are brown and crunchy throughout.
