@EcZena Hi EcZena, thank you for opening this discussion. CBD has certainly since a rise in popularity in recent years.
For those who may not know, CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound extracted from the hemp plant, a cousin of the marijuana plant. CBD is a naturally occurring substance used in products like oils or edibles which gives a feeling of relaxation or calm when consumed. Unlike its relative, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the major active ingredient in marijuana, CBD is not psychoactive. Research is still underway into the efficacy of topical CBD, but initial findings have shown that it may be helpful in managing chronic pain and inflammation.
Have you heard of CBD being used in the treatment of eczema or atopic dermatitis? What do you think? Would you be interested in trying it or have you tried it already yourself?

Huh, I haven't heard of this but I'm definitely interested. I've heard CBD is good for anxiety and chronic pain but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has tried it for eczema!

Hi, I was talking with a friend about our eczema and she was telling me that she was reading that CBD may have a beneficial effect on it. Apparently now there are creams and other skin products containing it. Does anyone know anything about this or have you tried it? I'm interested to see if it could be a less abrasive or more natural solution for me.
Thank you.
Zena
