@HelloKitty I started taking kratom when I was diagnosed with cervical dystonia, it means I have constant pulling of my neck and shoulder muscles. Botox is the primary treatment , 6 to 8 shots targeting muscles but its hit and miss. I told a friend about this and he told me about kratom, so I went to a kratom shop and talked to the owner. He learned I was an Army Veteran and sold me some capsules. Unbelievable the kratom knocked out the pain and relieved some of the spasms and pulling that was 5 years ago, and I am still taking it for chronic pain. I have found the vendors to trust and a fbook website to share experiences with others. Like all things kratom must be handled with common sense, and reading info on the web helps educate us all. IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT HELPS WITH MY CHRONIC PAIN

I recommend all watch "Leaf of Faith" a documentary on Netflix as a sound base for further discussion. This is a vital topic as it relates to chronic pain.

I use kratom also. I am diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

I used mainly the reds when the pain is bad and/or yellow bali.

I have to share this with you. I rely on red and green strains; however I was starting to get what people call kratom headaches. I opted to go with all white strains and headaches went away. Also had much more energy and no pain due to cervical dystonia.

@Armor2 I have been getting headaches also from Kratom - I thought it was the white Mang Da that was causing it, but I cut that out and still get them... but I sip on it all day and have lowered the amount.... I usually drink 3 tablespoons throughout the day, sipping.

How did you get rid of your kratom headaches... just from switching the strain?

By switching to all white strains, but this was simple luck on my part. I had been taking 2 doses of red with 1 dose of white. This has served me well for the past several months except I was starting to have headaches sometime in the back of my neck and then above my eyes. I had heard of people talking about Kratom headaches but didn't put that much into it. Until I switched up to 2 whites and 1 white and magically headaches disappeared. I also felt more energetic and now realize what people talk about when they refer to the sedating effect in reads. Rule of thumb I need to switch out strains more often to get the full benefit from all strains. I have not had any headaches since I switched.

Wow this is all such great information. I just recently learned about Kratom and wanted to learn more. Thanks for all the advice as I will be watching the movie to learn more as I have switched to more natural ways of healing.God bless
