I purchased 3 vials of Lantus  on a Tuesday afternoon at a CVS. They had been pulled out of their refrigerator and sold. to me.

I took them home and sat them unopened in a bag in an air-conditioned living room for no more than two days when I remembered to put them in the refrigerator.

Are they ok? Will they last longer than 28 days? Gee I hope so!

@frankiesinatrapug‍ I am not sure... that is a good question. I would recommend you call the CVS and speak to the pharmacist and / or call the manufacturer and ask them.

Would be interested in knowing what they said.

You said they were  in an air conditioned room. That said, I think they will be ok, especially if you have them refrigerated now. They are good for 28 days from the time you remove them and first pierce the seal by screwing on a needle and you had not done that. You are likely to use a pen up faster than that anyway. Lantus is a daily use product and I go through a pen every couple weeks,
