Hello everyone,

Since the Coronavirus epidemic concerns many Americans (and Carenity members too), I've created this discussion to allow you to talk specifically about the virus in the context of multiple sclerosis, as we all know that patients can be weakened by their treatments.

Have you received any special instructions from your doctor regarding your care? Are you going to limit your travel? Do you have any advice for others?

Take care,

Courtney

Hello, everyone. I am going to take my final shot today for the coronary vaccine. The first shot was not a major problem. The only problem I had was experiencing tenderness in my arm for a few minutes.

To me, coming down off the pandemic has been even tougher. After getting used to the mask, now you have to get used to some not wearing it now that they have the option not to, and yet the variants are rising. People are coughing (smoker's cough, tickle in the throat, nervousness, allergy, whatever the reason) and while we are still ask to get on buses via the back door of the bus, they relaxes the mandate to wear masks, saying if you want to. Nobody whipping out hand sanitizers like before, and they touch everything, cough or sneeze on their hands and some talk and spray while speaking. It is hard for those of us who trying to not be germophobic about it.
