Hey guys,

I am wondering, how many of us actually have family members that have MS. Since MS is not really considered a "genetic" disease, however, it seems to be a factor, I was just curious to see how many of us have this "factor."

Thank you for reading.

Hey @padres44‍,

My aunt on my dad's side has MS, but other than that I do not know of anyone else.

This is a good topic. I am interested in reading other's responses.

@lisamaj01‍, sorry to hear you were diagnosed with MS, but glad you have joined here at Carenity!

A good friend of mine was diagnosed a few months ago. He is the only one on his family.

I was diagnosed in 2014 at age 30. I'm the only one, cousin on my dad side gas lupus, which I heard is very similar. Also, was told by my neurologist is could be due to my father being born with rheumatoid arthritis in his hand, unable to straighten his fingers, I have no idea. Was listening to independent news (Gary Null) on prn (progressive radio network). Heard him state that cannabis oil with high THC is a cure for multiple sclerosis, have to look into that. Sorry to hear about everyones diagnosis, tough to live with ?

I have MS also. I’m sorry to all ...  I have no support system which makes things rough. Thank your lucky stars if you do.
