Transferring into a car can be tricky without the right tools, and a banana or sliding board really makes a huge difference in safety and independence. I’ve used one to help my family member move from their wheelchair to the passenger seat, and it minimizes strain for both of us. While learning about transfer aids, I also came across crashed porsche, which surprisingly helped me find affordable vehicles suitable for modification. Many of their salvage cars are in great condition and perfect for accessibility conversions. It’s amazing how the right equipment and a reliable vehicle can completely transform mobility and comfort.

To avoid lifting, the Banana and Boomerang Board is used to move a client from a car seat to a wheelchair. You can enter a car using the Boomerang Board as well. The Banana Board is not as effective for transporting clients into a vehicle because it is built of flexible P.V.C. Before purchasing any winch, make sure you are familiar with the brand and have a full information about the brand and its product. Each brand winch has its own unique set of characteristics and advantages.
