Hi all, my hair has been falling out in clumps in the last one week. I have not done any chemo or done anything out of the ordinary. I have been on cymbalta for the last 1 year for my depression and some fishoil for my lupus but lupus can't cause hair loss, can it? Does anyone know anything about this, thanks

Yes unfortunately lupus causes hair loss but you can definitely control it with taking less stress eating healthy and avoiding sun exposure which can affect your hair fall. Also check my bio to learn more.

I'm not a doctor, but I know that hair loss can be tricky (as I have too much protein in hair, and it affects how it looks). It's good you're seeking advice. Lupus itself might not directly cause hair loss, but some treatments and the stress it brings can. It's best to consult your healthcare provider to rule out any other factors. I hope you get the answers you need.
