I was recently diagnosed with non- alcohol fatty liver disease. My question is about the ultrasound I had. The radiologist does not say anything about the stomach and pancreas. Was the pancreas and stomach not checked?

Hi @tempo12007,

Thank you for opening up this discussion. Sometimes these reports can feel incomplete, and it’s natural to wonder if everything was thoroughly checked. It seems like this topic hasn’t gotten much attention yet, but I’d love to hear from others in the community:

For those who’ve had abdominal ultrasounds for liver or related conditions: Did your report include information about other organs like the stomach or pancreas? Have you had similar questions after imaging tests? How do you usually go about clarifying these details with your doctor?

Your shared experiences could be so helpful for tempo12007 and others navigating similar situations. Let’s support each other in understanding and managing these challenges.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Hi Tempo

Always ask for the written report you are entitled to.

Very technical but it should tell you about all organs checked. If you Doctor has a patient portal then all that info will be on there
