@lupus38 I've been going up and down with my emotions lately and I want to get off the rollercoaster,  i got my mountain bike out of storage and I'm going for a ride today that will help me lol and show me how out of shape I'm in. But I can't wait to get my motorcycle out of storage I can't get it till may 6th because the lady I rent from to store it winters in Florida lol must be ruff but on the positive side I got a new job and I start this coming Wednesday. I hope you're staying healthy and safe and still having some fun

@kayjoy Mental health is an everyday struggle for many people. Please know that you are not alone.  I believe you came to a good place where lots of people care and can offer advice. I hope you can respond back with some specifics of what you struggle with so that an avenue for improvement can be found. Some people struggle with loss of someone special or experience challenges involving family matters. When you can express your feelings more, I believe this opens the pathway to finding some answers.

What you can also do is jot down some challenges you are having on a whiteboard, notebook, paper or whatever. Next to those challenges, put a potential solution. You can get some potential solutions from your health practitioner or google. Choose solutions that are healthy and good for your mind, body and soul. Partner up with someone that keeps track of your progress and see if you are heading in the right direction.

With any challenge in life, having a partner or someone that's an advocate for you getting better is one of the keys to furthering your growth to a better mental health solution.

@lupus38 i thought I was doing better for awhile? Things were looking up! I got a new job,  but cause of the weather last week and them having equipment problems at my new job my start date keeps getting pushed back and where I'm renting a room at the landlord is really turning into a Bitch!  I won't go into detail but any little thing any of us living here do she snaps! Then out of nowhere she tells a roommate that he has to leave by Saturday? Even though it's illegal to do she thinks she can but she's going to get a wake up call on that,  which will make it even harder to live here.  But I'm just trying to stay positive and keeping the faith that everything happens for a reason and that things will get better? I don't bother anyone and sometimes I'm to generous with the help I give but I've always been that way.  I just have to focus on myself and try to move forward and move out of here and then hopefully I can find someone to love me as much as I will love her. It's hurtful depressing and frustrating at times being alone sometimes I just need a HUG!! 🤗🤗🤗

@Jackson1 Congrats on the new job! That's frustrating about the start date, but it's still great you've got a job! That's great you're keeping positive despite the chaos we're living in. I'm struggling a bit right now being stuck at home, but I try to find pleasure in the little things to keep me going. Hope everyone is ok!

@gottgetbtr a lot of times it is the little things that matter most,  we all just have to put things into perspective and not make a mountain out of a molehill. But just by sharing on here helps me even though I don't share everything on here,  but I am very appreciative that I have some kind of outlet to vent and to share whether it good or bad and not get judged by anyone it helps a lot when you can share with people who understand and are going through the struggles of life. Thanks everyone

dbt, cbt, act are all therapies that teach you coping skills that target troubling/triggering thoughts and feelings and analyzing them so the frequency of these triggers lessens
