Thank you and yes I see a GI Md.  It's just crazy to have to go through this. I guess it will get better or easier.

I am a 55 years young female diagnosed with Crohn's last May.  Before the Crohn's I have been dealing with Grave's disease which is now in remission.  I have to agree with the other posts about feeling lost and alone.  Some loved ones seem to understand but since I do not have any symptoms that are showing I must be ok.  I am not on meds yet as I have had a few difficulties.  It has not been easy nice to know I am not alone

U are definitely not alone, and I hope you start to feel well very soon.

I am  very sorry that you are going through this. No one deserves to lose their life, career, and especially the children due to this evil disease. I totally understand what you are going threw. I  feel like my son is moving away from me but I  really don't know what to do but give him space. I  need him so much right now but I  don't want to stress him out. Hopefully we all can be support to each other. Stay strong and keep your head up.

I just got my official diagnosis last Friday and I'm feeling overwhelmed. I have been having symptoms for 7 months now but due to insurance issues and long waits for appointments, I finally have some resolution now. I just don't know what to do with it. I miss feeling normal.

I've been on Pentasa for a week. Anyone have an idea when I might see some relief? I'm so sick and tired of feeling like garbage all the time.

@MerrilyB I understand what you mean. I was diagnosed with Crohn's when I was 16, I am 60 now . My last bowel resection was 20 years ago and have been in remission since until.......you guessed it...it is back with a vengeance.  I have been on Remicade infusions and that didn't work for me and now they have me on Stellara and I don't think it is doing much either.  I have lost so much weight I look like death.  I am afraid to eat anything because it will come right out and cramping will be so bad. I  am lucky that my husband does understand the exhausting toll it takes on a body. Another thing I don't  remember last time Crohn's causing extreme arthritis.  When did that start? Or maybe I was just younger then and didn't feel it.

@Tessa1 I first make sure you are seeing a GI. they found mine years ago with a colonoscopy and blood work this time . Mine did not show up on a CT. I have had mine since I was 17 and been in remission for 20 years now back big time!
