I had my first bout of bronchitis and I have had it for 4 weeks took two rounds of prednisone and antibiotic cough gone but not the dypsnea so frustrating

Hi I have 2 different rescue inhalers, nebulizer for duoneb, and epi-pens. Mainly I use mind over matter and “suck it up” mentality.

@Breathmaster congrats on mind over matter w your shortness of breath. That, in & of itself, is impressive! I have inhaler for similar reasons, don't have asthma. When I worked, I joked w employees I'd die in the stairwells ( bad sense humor). I delivered mail at local hospital, & East bldg is for more acute, intensely ill patients. At 1 point, 3 of 4 elevators were out, under construction. Bad news if anyone got flown in for surgery, etc. Since old adage is neither rain, nor snow, nor gloom of night was recollected, I added no elevator shortage would stop me. I'd run mail down stairwells, unless heavy packages. The joke being, I'd become so breathless that employees thought I needed help. Nope, I just moved wayy too fast. Quit due to colleages & supervisor misunderstanding my autism. They made it a joke. Ha, on them.

Again kudos for your tenacity w dyspnea.
