Anyone out there that has awful pain with Neuropathy? I have shooting pain,numbness and tingling in my feet! Mostly my toes and the balls of both feet are affected. I take tramadol and Morin for the pain at home,but if I'm going out,I take C.B.D.oil and a vicodin before leaving! I also use C.B.D.cream or Bio-freeze for relief at night.

 Hi @Hidden username‍ I have nerve issues in my both elbows and arms. The shooting is not constant, but it does come and so does the tingling. At times it can feel like I am constantly hitting my funny bone nerve throughout my arms.

I had been prescribed tramadol before, but it had ZERO effect. The doctors don't know what is causing it, but they prescribed tramadol since it is supposed to work for nerve pain, but nothing. I have tried CBD oil by mouth and rub, BioFreeze, heat patches, etc... nothing has helped. If you find something I would love to know what it is!

The only thing that has helped some is kratom, but kratom helps more for my chronic pain from RA than the nerve pain.

Don't give up,Karm!nR! There must be something out there that will work for you! My pain in my feet is constant! The only one that will really work is Vicodin,but I only use it if I'm out all day! Otherwise its Tramadol and Ibroprohen every 5 hours! I hope you can find something that will work for you!

@Hidden username

i too have neuropathy in my feet. ( aside from having metastatic bone cancer). It slowly developed after a spinal fusion surgery. I tried Lyrica, but had no effect. Aside from the pain, I get a burning sensation on the top of my feet. It’s horrible! CBD cream does help a bit. Hope you cope with it better than I do.

Hi Rbeck1234! Yes,I have neurapathy in my feet also! Mainly in my toes and the balls of my feet! It is mostly stabbing,burning pain which seems to be worse at night.The only thing that really helps is CBD oil but that's really expensive so I take Tramadol and Vicodin on my bad days! Hope you can find some relief soon!

I have constant pain in both hands and both feet. My pain is from a Stroke. I was taking Tramadol. My doctor took me off of it because of excessive use can cause kidney damage, according to my doctor. Now I take Lyrica and Hydrocodone. I am not sure if it is working because of the constant pain! Any suggestions??

Ms. Vee , cbd cream helps with neuropathy burning, not so much with pain. ( but some). Also, it isn’t so bad compaired to back pain from 5 surgeries and cancer. I do not recommend this form of pain relief however.

So sorry about the stroke, praying for no more of those.

Rich

@Hidden username‍ and @Hidden username‍ have you noticed whether only CBD topical treatment is effective for the neuropathy burning or whether sublingual/capsules are also effective? Is it only effective for controlling the shooting/stabbing pain or is it also effective in the numbing/irritating itching pain as well that often is experienced?

@Hidden username‍ - did you have 5 back surgeries? I hope you are doing ok from these. I understand that surgery can take a lot out of a person.

Lee R,yes the topical CBD oil cream is effective for the burning and stabbing pains and the oral CBD oil helps with the pain and numbness as well! As I mentioned, both are really too expensive for me at this time,so I stick with the ones I can afford!

@Lee__R

mostly the cream is effective on the burning pain I have. And is way more affordable than the pills.

Yes, 5 surgeries culminating in a spinal fusion S1-L5. I haven’t been the same since. It figures I would get cancer of the spine too. It is at S1 right next to one of the pedicle screws. I also have a compression fracture at T1. ( untreated). I’m pretty much a mess.

@Hidden username I had a transforminal lumbar fusion surgery in my L5-S1 as well. I have a titanium cage with screws also, because I had a pars fracture as well in the same area. So trust me when I say I feel your pain. The surgery helped with the fracture, but I’m still in chronic pain. I ended up with fibromyalgia, nerve damage and spondylitis just to name a few. lol it’s been hell trying to find relief, because nothing stops the pain. I hope you can find some relief. Maybe try heat that takes a little bit of the edge off. Good luck!!!

Thank you very much for all of your feedback. The doctor has recommended surgery. However, I am 59 years old. I do not think it would be to my betterment to go through with the surgery. I am going to try the CBD Oil. Do you know where I can purchase the CBD Oil?

Thank you all for your help.

Very appreciative,

Vera S.
