I have fibromyalgia, which causes me to experience pain, which on somedays can be all over my body. I also will get migraines and suffer from intense fatigue.

The friends I used to have do not take much interest in me anymore. Probably because I cancel a lot or just am too tired to do anything after the day is coming to an end. Somedays, I feel like I want to do something, but then end up never doing anything.

My family and some friends say "just deal with it" or "it could be worse." I have also heard "it can't be that bad" or that I am over exaggerating. I have had a difficult time dating also due to this... seems to affect everything.

Thank you for listening and looking forward to hearing from others.

I would like to discuss how to reach and network with people from whom we can choose are own family, one individual at the time.

I'm sorry. I often feel alone and unheard. I don't have fibromyalgia but I do get migraines that can be terrible. I also wish I could do more but I can't. I don't have any answers. I wish I did.

What you are going through is very real and debilitating. I have been on Lyrica highest dose and 10mg Flexeril 3 times a day is also the highest dose. This is why I am getting a spinal chord stimulator on Thursday. I did a 1 week trial and pain relief was at least 85%. I know I will never be pain free but I feel SCS can help me get some of my life back. Boston Scientific SCS is so good with providing me so much support and I hope procedure goes well as I suspect it will.

I understand. I still work because I have to. I'm exhausted and in pain day and night. I don't have a choice. If I didn't work I would be homeless

Feeling misunderstood by using those closest to you—accomplice, own family, and buddies—is a profound shape of emotional loneliness that regularly feels worse than being bodily alone. This form of isolation takes place owing to an emotional gap, not a physical one, in which you sense unseen or undervalue notwithstanding being surrounded by using human beings
