Hi everyone,
I wanted to bring this discussion back because chronic pain doesn't just affect the body. It can also change the way we communicate, spend time together, express affection, and navigate intimacy. Many couples face these challenges, but they often aren't talked about openly.
- Has chronic pain affected your romantic relationship? In what ways?
- Do you feel your partner understands what you're going through, or has it been difficult for them to relate?
- Have you found anything that has helped you maintain closeness, communication, or intimacy despite living with chronic pain?

Whether you're in a long-term relationship, newly dating, or navigating chronic pain on your own, your experience could help someone else feel less alone. Even small things that have helped you and your partner communicate or support each other may make a real difference to someone reading this.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences!
Take care,

My wife left my after 24 years of marriage because of my health. How do you even try to start dating with medical conditions and where do you go to find people?

Living in chronic pain can cause a person to face depression, anxiety, etc., which can unfortunately affect relationships, specifically romantic relationships.
Has living in chronic pain impacted your romantic relationship? If yes, how so?
Do you feel your partner understands and helps you deal with your chronic pain?
