My son had pain since he was 11 and recently his knees starting turning inward, he was in so much pain he had to use a wheel chair for long walks and when he did walk he had a bad limp. He randomly started having grand mal seizures at 15, they were really bad. At one point he was having 15 seizures a day. He is now 16 and started taking Humira 7 months ago, he now works out and plays basketball, no more limp and so much happier and stronger, no side effects that we have noticed yet. He is also on a lot of seizure meds and doctors are trying to find a connection between the two. Has anyone ever had any seizures or know of people with AS and have seizures?

I always feel excessive joint pain and fatigue around my period. Sometimes it’s worse, other times it’s better. I’ve been using heating pads and extra strength Advil to help.

Hello everyone,
I thought our latest patient interview with Yvan, someone who's been living with AS for 15 years might be of interest to you. Here's the link if you'd like to take a look: Patient Interview - Yvan
Take care,
Lee

My brother suffering from the same disease for more than 6 years but he just got diagnosed with it not even 1 month ago .
he has been suffering for more than 6 years and no one could feel him .
After reading all your comments I feel guilty because I didn't realize what he was and still living.
Now he's taking some medication but his doctor said there is a big probability to persue another injection drug .
I hope he get back his health and safety quickly because he still young only 26 years old and wanting to achieve his goals and continue his study as well.
please tell us if anyone from you had this disease and now he's totally okay a'd felling much better.

Reading your stories, I realize how hard it is to deal with constant pain and fatigue with ankylosing spondylitis. Sometimes, to distract myself from negative thoughts, I tried switching to different activities outside of medicine — for example, I checked out https://plinko1xbetindia.com to see a review of Plinko for players from India, or looked up info on https://plinkostakeindia.com about Plinko on Stake. Of course, this doesn’t solve health problems, but sometimes it helps to relax a bit and forget for a while. I hope each of us will find our own way to cope with difficulties.

Thanks for starting this discussion. It really does help to hear from others who are dealing with AS and understand the day to day challenges that come with it. Living with a chronic condition can feel isolating at times, so having a space to talk openly about symptoms, flare ups, lifestyle adjustments, and even the emotional side of things makes a big difference.I am always open to hearing how others manage their AS and what has helped them cope, both physically and mentally. Looking forward to connecting with everyone here and learning from each other.

I thought we could all gather here to discuss AS. I have read a lot testimonials from other members in the testimonial section and it feels good to realize that I am not alone in AS and not alone in experiencing and struggling with a chronic condition, like AS.
I know there are more focused topics here on AS, but I would like to open a more general discussion with you all so that we can meet each other and better get to know each other.
I would be happy to discuss my condition with AS with you.
I hope to hear from any of you soon!
