@Cora52 Cora Thank you for wearing your mask for others . That is so very thoughtful of you . I wish more people would do the same but I am grateful for the ones that do . Again thank you for being so courteous.

this is one of the reasons I did not go get my procedure done yet because for one no one can visit you and two the last time i spoke with the nurse who told me this procedure might led to an operation, she scared me. she should have lefted the operation out of this conversation. Than i would have gone for the procedure already.

@hmccu2224 As a nurse, still practicing at 70, we must tell the patient the whole story at the beginning. It's part of the reason that people trust us. We have always been No. 1 in Gallup polls for "who do you trust the most?"
You must have been really scared and shocked when the nurse got to the end of the story - possible heart surgery. But, I must back the nurse for telling you the whole story. Anyone/Everyone who gets any heart procedure receives the same pre-op education, which includes the rare possibility of surgery.
In 2020, so many people are blessed to get stents, to open the blocked/partially blocked arteries. When we first began trying to "re-open" the blocked arteries, decades ago, the only choice WAS open heart surgery! Now that would have scared me out of having anything done. But today, we can avoid all of that because in most cases, we can place a stent into the blocked cardiac artery to keep it open instead.
So, if it were me in this situation, I would go back to the nurse, or to the cardiac practice that you are going to, and tell them you need more information, that you have more questions now that you've had the chance to think about things. Ask what they meant about possible cardiac surgery. Okay? Keep us posted about how you are doing, if you need any further encouragement, hugs, smiles. :-)

I just wish everyone would take this virus seriously. Though they think they'll be ok it's selfish not to think of others who may not be ok if they had COVID. I have noticed people are becoming lax on safety issues. Retail stores have signs on doors requiring people to wear masks. They also make announcements over the speaker & I still see many people totally ignoring. And I can't blame the stores as it could cause a very unpleasant situation if an employee told person they needed to have a mask on. This has been seen in places. It's not that difficult wear a mask & wear it properly, covering mouth & nose.

Yes. Many people who do not distant themselves especially without a mask may cause a second wave.

Good morning to all, I'm here in Orlando Florida. My name is Lisa nice to meet you all. I would like to share my honest opinion, I believe that this is not over. The C virus is out there, I've gone out to get my essentials and I've seen people without mask children without mask. How can we fight something that we don't see? We have to believe it is still here. Please I beg of you, wear a mask, be safe, don't come close to anyone without a mask. My friends, tomorrow is never promised. Make the best of today and play it safe- 🌈❤💚💜💙💛

Yes! It is doubling here in Iowa everyday. The worst ever. I am staying home so much more and only get groceries 1x month. I no longer do anything except little driving days and walking the dog and order online for anything I avoid stores at all costs. I buy online and my meds are shipped to me or mailed.
WE only go to farm store for dog food once a month 100lbs.
I went to dollar tree and stocked up on needed thing to last 3 months. soaps and cleaning things, bathroom items ,
I am ready even bought a 3rd freezer new and am enjoying using up stuff I forgot I put in the freezer. I look at the good no matter how bad.
I am organizing the house and cleaning daily. Tossing and donating.
With the snow last night a sure sign winter is here and a great time to do some of the things on my to do list. my bucket list to learn how to make tortillas from scratch, funnel cakes, other hispanic meals and more sweets like reeces brownie pizza and fruity pebbles cookies and potato chip cookies So many little recipies I want to try once. I make what I have on hand and will make more next month keeping my list up to date what I will need.
I had biscuits and gravy for the first time in 58yrs! I have had so many new tastes! I love trying new recipies and my gentle giant fur babies are so spoiled make them meals in crockpot overnight and rice alot and today was double treats I make with pumpkin egg, cinnamon and whole wheat flour. They are so spoiled!
I am also in the process of donating my kidney to my partner and this is very exciting as unmc in omaha refused to do anything and barred me with ms from donating. in des moines, I can donate and they are in the process of scheduling a transplant.
We have spent days driving for 2 hours sitting in drs for 10hr and back home drive 2 hours and then repeat next day and then a break next week is just about 6 hour at drs. Very excited to get all his testing done and then I will do mine for the donation. Excited!
Stay positive everyone. STay in the moment, do things that are out of your normal comfort level. Enjoy the moment.!!

Then more people going get sick not forget you have the flu coming up are going say u covd-19 not flu or what about upper and lower respiratory infection are going mess and say u have covd-19. Just a thought. Do u know more unborn baby's are been killed more then covd-19 numbers back that up. Pss I think going take some time for American get well.

Hello everyone,
How are you doing today?
As countries throughout the world are and have been coming out of lockdown and life is begining to return to "normal", many people and health authorities have begun to ask the question: Will there be a second wave of COVID-19?
And you, what do you think? Do you think we will see a second wave of COVID-19 outbreak? What should we do to prevent a resurgence?
Feel free to share and discuss any doubts, fears, and feelings you may be having in the comments!
Take care,
Courtney
