Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well! emoticon cute

As you all may have heard, there has been discussion both in the US and in other countries about a COVID-19 vaccine booster vaccine to be potentially launched in the fall, as cases of the Delta variant escalate around the globe. The CDC has not yet taken a firm stance on necessity of a booster dose, as researchers are still gathering information and learning more about:

long-lasting protection of the different vaccines,
protection against COVID variants, and
further protecting those who may be immunocompromised.

What do you all think about this news? If you were offered a booster shot would you go for it? Do you have any concerns about an additional shot?

If you have A.S, you shouldn't have a live vaccine, such as the flu shot. But covid vaccines are not live vaccines, so there's no problem. Plus you should think about people around you. It is possible to have covid, without any symptoms yourself, but still spread it onto other's.

My husband and I got the two physer (sp?) shots. We were going to get our booster but never got around to it. I guess we aren't going to get the booster now

My husband and I got the vaccine and booster. I remember getting the polio vaccine in the 50's and feel this is just another way to protect my physical and mental health. I respect everyone's opinion on getting vaccinated or not, but I personally wanted to get it.

I did get my booster on October 30, 2021. I had no problems with it. I had the chills and a little fever.
