Hello everyone,

As you all may have heard, there has been discussion both in the US and in other countries about a COVID-19 vaccine booster vaccine to be potentially launched in the fall, as cases of the Delta variant escalate around the globe. The CDC has not yet taken a firm stance on necessity of a booster dose, as researchers are still gathering information and learning more about:

long-lasting protection of the different vaccines,
protection against COVID variants, and
further protecting those who may be immunocompromised.

What do you all think about this news? If you were offered a booster shot would you go for it? Do you have any concerns about an additional shot?

I got the booster and the regular flu shot two weeks apart. As suggested by the CDC. No problems

I will NEVER get that jab! Saw by best friend die from it, my mother-in-law can't walk because of it. Nope, never. I don't judge the ones that want to get it, but please don't judge me for not getting it.

Got call from doctor, booster is available, you can get it when you want. Made appointment got the booster and second shingles shot, got flu shot around my birthday. So good to go for this year.

I received my flu shot and my booster same day at a site. That was easier than making an appointment at my doctor's, LOL!! Once again I'm the only going to take care of me, I've had pneumonia for 85 days prior to the shots. So anything that MIGHT keep me safer, I'm in 😄
