Hello everyone,

During this Coronavirus pandemic, many of us have been advised to "social distance" ourselves, limiting contact with strangers, friends and even in some cases, family. No more trips to the movies, the mall, the gym, or any of those other things we love to do.

We may be "stuck" at home, but let's not let it get us down!

Here are a few little ideas to help you keep busy while social distancing at home!

Take advantage of this time to:

  1. Call and check in on your loved ones.
  2. Pick up a new sport or workout (indoors, obviously emoticon wink)! The internet is full of all kinds of tutorials and guides, there is something for everyone!
  3. Read or reread the "classics" or any other of your favourite books.
  4. Spend some time in the kitchen, recreating old recipes or testing new ones.  emoticon pizza
  5. Do some spring cleaning or reorganisation.
  6. And above all, do things that make you happy!

What will you be doing while staying at home? Do you have any tips or ideas for activities? Share you thoughts or ideas below!

Take care,

Courtney

I have been able to get back into colored pencils and painting during this time of isolating.  I have a number of bird feeders in the yard and they are my current favorite subjects ♥️

@Mrubalcava Thank you for sharing this, you made me laugh so hard! emoticon laugh I have also developed a toxic relationship with Amazon and I am definitely getting wider rather than taller! My cat is kind of the opposite of an emotional support expert, I think he's rather I leave!

But I've been rearranging my kitchen drawers and our endless supply of tupperware and old takeout containers and I've been working through the list of books to read that I came up with years ago, so that's been a positive point!

Hope you all are well and safe!

I have been working from home Since March 13, so that takes up half my day that I am awake.

Hi All!

During this Covid-19 pandemic, I am trying to stay positive.  I have tried to do crafts such as wreaths and tumblers, but standing and using my hands so much have increased my pain.  I have packed up my entire upstairs and downstairs craft room along with a few other areas.  My oldest son who lives in Tennessee has my power of attorney, handles all of my business and receives my SS Disability check each month.  He says that I need to move to a smaller home with no stairs.  I know I need to move, but I love my neighborhood and neighbors.  Packing and making have taken all of my time during this pandemic. I have stayed in my house and have tried to stay busy.  If I do not feel like packing or making wreaths, I usually sleep.  I just seem to be so tired.    I try very hard not to complain!

I try to stay busy, I cook all meals and prepare for The Lord’s return!

I am getting back into my retro gaming and "trying" to socialize online.  Some sites work out better than others lol.  On the plus side, I am now an F-Zero master :)
