I have family and friends that are both vaccinated and unvaccinated. In my experience, unvaccinated people often fall into two basic groups. The first group is what I call the fear group, justified or not they fear side effects or conspiracy or something. The other group is what I call the don't tell me what to do group. They seem to be fighting to hold control of their lives in the face of being told they have to do something. In either case, they don't respond well to logical reasoning because that reasoning is a secondary concern to them. If we can't find a way to deal with their primary motivation I expect to see them continue to resist all attempts to convince them to get vaccinated or wear masks. Any expert in human behavior could likely put it better and suggest strategies to improve the vaccination rate. I suggest we ask them.

It's getting to the point now that people who are going to get vaccinated have been vaccinated and the people who refuse the shot are just going to become infected. I've quit hounding people about it. If 780,000 deaths in this country is not enough to change someone's mind, then I don't know what is.

Don‘t you all think that this rage against anti-vaxers makes us even more depressed? I personally think, that everyone should decide for themselves. This just brings unnecessary rage against each other.

@Simonamay i so agree with you - why do people have to be against each other regarding being vaccinated or unvaccinated? I hesitantly got vaccinated and have friends who aren't- does it matter to me? NOPE! I still talk with and see these people and hug them, too- it's a matter of choice and people need to respect that and stop being judgemental!

My family went over board. Telling me someone is going with you to all your appointments, your treatments. My daughter is to be given Power Of Attorney and access to. My Chart Cleveland Clinic.
Im not dieing yet, I plan to fight. But if they get to far into my business I may stop treatment.
