Develop and trust my own gut instinct. Stop letting people abuse you, and listen to your body more, and get to the doctor. Stop trying to be superman. Otherwise you are going to end up like my profile.

Hi, @docein!
Learning to trust your instincts and listen to your body can be truly life-changing. 💛 Do you feel like you’ve gotten better at recognizing when to slow down or set boundaries now?

@Somya.P No not really, but its a process, sometimes 1 step forward, 2 steps back. I just keep trying.

@Ladybird Short and sweet — and so true! 😄If you could go back, is there a moment in your life where you wish you’d reminded yourself of that advice?

@Somya.P I remind myself of it all the time--no particular instance. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff--Especially after losing my parents. We ALL need to show a little grace, we NEVER know what someone is going thru or experiencing. We just need to be smart about what we're doing!

@Elk217015 Love the positivity in that message 💪 When you look back, what helped you keep that mindset strong during the difficult moments?

I’d tell myself to learn how to budget and conservatively use credit.

Hey there, @Phil.yandel!
That’s such solid advice, it really does shape so much of our peace of mind later on. Was there a particular experience that made you realize the importance of budgeting? Or is it something you’ve gradually come to value over time?

@Somya.P we made some poor financial decisions in our marriage which had us barely living paycheck to paycheck. It got so bad we lost our house and had to live in a rental.

@Phil.yandel That must have taken such a heavy emotional toll, especially when it affects your home and sense of stability. It takes a lot of courage to talk about that openly, and even more to learn from it the way you have. Looking back, was there anything in particular that helped you start rebuilding or feeling more in control again?

Hello everyone,
How are you doing today? 😊
As we get older we have a lifetime of experiences that have made us wiser.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Take care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
