Develop and trust my own gut instinct. Stop letting people abuse you, and listen to your body more, and get to the doctor. Stop trying to be superman. Otherwise you are going to end up like my profile.

@Somya.P I remind myself of it all the time--no particular instance. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff--Especially after losing my parents. We ALL need to show a little grace, we NEVER know what someone is going thru or experiencing. We just need to be smart about what we're doing!

@Somya.P we made some poor financial decisions in our marriage which had us barely living paycheck to paycheck. It got so bad we lost our house and had to live in a rental.

@Phil.yandel That must have taken such a heavy emotional toll, especially when it affects your home and sense of stability. It takes a lot of courage to talk about that openly, and even more to learn from it the way you have. Looking back, was there anything in particular that helped you start rebuilding or feeling more in control again?

Hello...I'm new here...if I could give my younger self advice I'd say stay in school and focus on yourself and your future...do things you enjoy...don't let other people define who you are ...and be good to others...find a way to express your feelings...cherish and enjoy people and experiences...if they don't make you feel good about yourself or bring negative things into your life...go the other diretion

If I could give myself advice, this advice would be to follow my first instinct . Knowing what is right, and what is wrong, making sure I do follow what I know is right in the beginning.
