@Mrspeedy Sounds better than it works. people's pain can not always be helped except with heavy duty meds. I for one will not take pain meds for my neuropathy(from chemo) because I prefer to be clear headed. I am taking a supplement that my oncologist suggested and it was working really well . but then my PC added medication for high cholesterol, and guess what one side effect is! Numbness.

@Velena82 Chronic pain is difficult. I have neuropathy in both my feet from Chemo. It was getting a lot better with a supplement my oncologist told me to try. But my PC just gave me a prescription for cholesterol and guess one side effect- numbness. so now its almost as bad as before but I am not giving up. Maybe a nutritionist could help find something to help you . Have you tried Yoga, or light exercise? I am not a person who exercises and I've had a issue with a "bad" knee for 8-10 years. I just started PT (torn meniscus and arthritis) and I was skeptical that is would help, but it has already! I can hardly believe it. I still have pain but its a lot better after 2 sessions. My neuropathy is still pretty bad but I wont take heavy duty meds because I want a clear head. I am going to try some light exercise even though I don't like it .Try to check into PT , even if its only a couple of sessions . I don't know what pain you have but keep searching . even a little relief helps. If you'd like to talk about your pain let me know you can reply to this and let me know if it helped. Take care . -Denise

@AS1218 I have chronic pain as well. I have neuropathy in both feet from chemo 3 years ago, it was getting a lot better by using a supplement my oncologist recommended, but i has a setback when my PC put me on a RX for cholesterol, one side effect is numbness in extremities. I also have a "bad " knee that has been painful for about 8 years. I went to a good orthopedic and he told me I have a torn meniscus, and arthritis. He told me to try physical therapy. I was VERY skeptical but I am only 2 sessions in and have had a lot of relief to my knee. I have just gotten used to my numb painful neuropathy in my feet as I do not want take strong meds because of the side effects. they actually prescribe anti seizure meds for neuropathy. I am telling you this because after years of suffering I have found that there were some things that helped. Maybe you could see a nutritionist, and try a vitamin or supplement that could help. Or like I did see another doctor and ask about PT. I honestly was so sure the supplements and PT would not help at all. but to my surprise it did . I wish you well. if you found this helpful at all leave me a reply. Take care . Don't ever give up, you may find relief or some way to cope better. - Denise

post surgical removal of a NET in my small intestine in 2018, the symptom I would like to be done with would be the diarrhea but more specifically the incontinence that sometimes occurs. It has such an impact on the quality of my life. It limits where I go, how long I can be in the car, can I eat, can I drink, can I sleep over someone else’s home, it is something that is always on my mind.

Fatigue is the one symptom I can't seem to manage, even with medication. I just wish I had some energy once in a while like I used to have before MS.

Personally, I have Multiple Sclerosis (Progressive) . The one symptom I would get rid of is : physical mobility issues.

I would love to rid myself of depression. It seems to have such a hold on my life and everything/everyone in it.

My Type 2 Bipolar Disorder has been an ear-full for all my practitioners to hear over the years. That would be awesome if I didn't need to do that to them anymore...But, realistically, though, it's still not a burden to them right now...
