Hello everyone,
After your stroke, what was your rehabilitation plan like? What did it consist of... Occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, psychological therapy (counseling, etc.), etc.? Any other additional information?
Did you participate in any therapy at a stroke clinic?

Hey everyone. My husband after his stroke participated in just about every therapy you mentioned. He did physical therapy and neuro therapy 3-4 days a week, we had an occupational therapist who worked with my husband I believe 4 days a week, and a speech therapist 3 days a week. We were lucky to have a one of kind center that focused on many aspects of stroke rehab.

I too had all the therapies. My speech therapy was not too often as my speech was still intelligible - I believe is the word they used. I just had difficulty coordinating the mouth and tongue movements. It was a long journey, but I am much better. Do not slack on the physical therapy, but also give your body rest so you can recover and allow your brain to process everything that took place each day during rehab.
