Michael Chekroun

President and Founder

Michael is Carenity's founder, a company he created in 2011, with the goal of providing patients and carers with a digital platform that could make connecting with other people living with chronic illnesses easier.

Today the Carenity community has grown to almost 400 000 active members around the world and is a place where patients share their opinions on treatments and illnesses, where they can find quality medical information and where they can participate in online studies to make their opinions on their health heard. The results of these studies allow medical researchers to better understand the needs of patients, improve their treatments and the health care services targeted to patients and their families.

Michael oversees a team of 25 collaborators in France and the United States. With a degree from Edhec and the London School of Economics, Michael started out his career as a strategic consultant before becoming a mergers and acquisition consultant.
