Hi everyone, how are you? ![]()
Do you ever experience stiffness in your joints in the morning? Does it make it hard for you to complete daily tasks? How do you cope with it? Is there anything that makes it better?

To relieve my hands, I usually alternate hot and cold and I do a lot of massage with the milking method.

@Courtney_J Hello Everyone,
Nothing helps me so I just relax and wait it out. It usually last for about 2 hours. I tried to make appointments for mid-morning .I take Humria it helps my psoriasis tremendously but not my R A.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to bring this discussion back because morning stiffness is one of the most common and frustrating symptoms of psoriatic arthritis. For some people it lasts just a few minutes, while for others it can make the first part of the day especially difficult.
- How long does your morning stiffness usually last, and which joints are affected the most?
- Have you found anything that helps you get moving more comfortably, such as heat, stretching, medication, or gentle exercise?
- Has your morning stiffness changed over time, or improved after starting a new treatment?

Whether you've found a routine that helps or you're still searching for relief, your experience could help someone else start their day a little more comfortably.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences!

I wake up about 2 hrs before I need to start moving , in hopes I can have a few moments to myself before tackling my day but it's usually 2 hrs of wall staring and intermittent scrolling, with assistive tech because my carpals aren't even awake yet 😅👌🏼

Hi all, my PsA affects all of my joints but it's the worst in my fingers. I've noticed in this last year that it's gotten especially bad in the morning. I can barely move my hands and get ready in the morning because of it. Is there anything we can do to ease the stiffness and pain right after waking up?
