Tonight I start a new med that is a mood stabilizer called zyprexa. I’ve been on Prozac for 5 weeks and felt it just wasn’t enough. I am scared to take this kind of medication because I read a lot of bad reviews. All I want is to feel better. I also take 0.5 klonopin which is not enough for me at all but my doctor won’t budge on increasing my dose or at least give me one more pill a day. I’m so tired of all of this! I’m mad and frustrated! I for understand why the doctor just won’t give me what I know works for me! Just because it’s a benzo! ALL of these drugs are “addicting” and have BAD withdrawal symptoms. I feel like giving up. I’m tired of putting poison after poison in my body and just hoping that it works. It’s 2022! Come on doctors let’s figure this bipolar depression anxiety shit out, can we?! I’m tired of feeling like a damn Ginny pig. I’ve been to the point that I’d honestly rather be dead! Like please just fucking kill me on my sleep lord! But since that’s unlikely to happen I’ll continue to play Russian roulette with whatever psyc meds I can shove down my throat to try and get my will back to live! Crossing my fingers like always and praying for relief. 😭🤬🤯🔫

Hey I know how you feel. I’m not on the stronger medications but I’ve had to test enough out to figure out they don’t really help me all the time either.

Hi. I also know how u feel. I've been a guinea pig for over 20 years. I don't take any of those meds. Was on Prozac for ages. Didn't work for me either. Does *feel* like poison. Agreed, at this stage in time, there *ought* to be lots better options to treat mental illness. Please don't take your life!! Not worth it!! Attempted to few times. Glad to be alive. Have nephew to live for! Try meditation. Am listening to relaxation music, sounds of thunderstorm. Just a thought.

@ i understand and feel exactly the same way. I was on zyprexa. Lots of leg swelling and feet . Messed with my speech and other issues . Worked for about 3 weeks and just stopped working all together as if I was taking nothing. Stopped taking it. I am also on klonpin . They get real strict on that. Lots of abuse I am on up to 1mg a day as needed. Hope we feel better so. I want to give up as well. I really do understand
