Hello, I had the TURBT procedure followed by BCG treatment. I was in pain from the TURBT procedure and felt ill for about week due to the BCG treatment. I also experienced painful and weak urination for about a week. The treatments did work, as I do not have cancer currently!

Hello everyone,
BCG (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin) is a very common adjuvant therapy for bladder cancer.
It triggers the body's immune system to destroy any cancer cells and delay tumor growth. In combination with TURBT, it is the most effective treatment for non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. However, it may have side-effects and/or it may fail its purpose.
