Hello @JohnSS, thank you for starting this discussion and sharing your experience! That's great that the speech therapy has helped you!
Has anyone else tried or been recommended speech therapy for your sleep apnea? If so, has it helped? If not, is it something you'd be interested in trying?

Hi there, I thought I would share my experience with sleep apnea and speech therapy.
I had a stroke about a year ago that caused me swallowing and sleeping issues. So my doctor referred me to a speech therapist to help with it. Well, ever since I started going my sleep apnea has improved! I brought it up to my doctor and she told me that a few studies found that the retraining of the face muscles and tongue positioning can help with sleep apnea!
I really recommend it to anyone if you have the time and money for it!
