Try to eat things that you may have not always liked ,it may taste different. Try shakes and smoothies. Drink lots of water. Water was a slight problem for me because it had a slimy texture to me after chemo! Your taste foe food and appetite should come back. I also had a double masectomy and reconstruction The same day. A lemon added to water helps the taste. Eat small amounts frequently. Tightness should improve lotion helps, use it at least twice a day I use the lightest Eucerin.most formulas were judt to heavy and painful to rub in! Skin calming is the best one. I can't get my taste back..not eating...losing lots of weight..nothing works. Also Have had a double masectomy past two weeks..very tight..and still tender. Anyone have these problems??
