Hello everyone,

How are you doing?

Chronic fatigue is one of the most challenging symptoms to cope with when living with rheumatoid arthritis. Sometimes, it can be even more draining than the pain itself and significantly impact our quality of life. 😓

How do you manage this constant fatigue? Do you have any tips to conserve energy and avoid feeling completely exhausted by the end of the day?

Cut back to very small, infrequent sweets, almost no bread, and no sugary drinks. You will cut down on brain fog and fatigue. Learn to use Stevia to sweeten things. Make sure you eat balanced meals, even if you have to eat veggies for breakfast.

Take little rests or naps when you have to, but don't sleep terribly long. Get time outside and do something active for at least 20 minutes most days.

My biologic medicine(Orencia) has doubled in price from $7,000 to $14,000 this year; thank goodness for Medicare and my United Healthcare (AARP plan) supplement. It makes me feel really good 12-14 hours a day. I can live with that. I wish you all well.

Hey, totally feel you on this. The fatigue hits hard, sometimes worse than the joint pain itself. What helps me a bit is pacing—breaking tasks into chunks and resting in between. Also, staying hydrated and having a steady sleep routine helps somewhat. Some days I still crash no matter what. I also try to keep track of everything, [This content has been moderated by an administrator] just having some structure reduces the mental load a bit. Hang in there, you’re not alone.
