Hi everyone,

I signed up for Carenity to ask this question specifically. It's a bit embarrassing so I thought this would be the perfect forum to ask. I live with Psoriasis and I flare a few times a year. But this is the first time I've had plaques on my genitals! At first I wasn't sure what they were but upon closer inspection, it is just psoriasis. Has this happened to anyone else?! Is there anything to be done to make the spots go away faster....obviously it doens't look great and it's itchy...

Help please,

spottedtoad

Hello @spottedtoad, and welcome to the Carenity community!

Thank you for starting this discussion, and please do not feel embarrassed, we're all here to help you. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing psoriasis flare-ups in a new and uncomfortable area. Genital psoriasis can indeed occur, and it can be distressing. It's essential to consult with a dermatologist or healthcare professional to confirm the diagnosis and discuss treatment options tailored to your specific situation.

I'll go ahead and invite a few members of our community to share if they've experienced similar symptoms or some tips to deal with your situation:
